Silver Snoopy Award Nov 8, 1991

The Silver Snoopy Award is a very special honor, given to less than 1% of NASA's team.

Of all the SFA Awards, the Silver Snoopy best symbolizes the intent and spirit of Space Flight Awareness. Astronaut Donald Thomas presented Robert C. Hendricks with the Silver Snoopy because it is the astronauts' own award for outstanding  performance, contributing to flight safety and mission success.  Dr. Thomas thanked Dr. Hendricks for all the work he did for NASA shuttle and space exploration program.  Dr. Thomas likes to tell others that he is here safe and sound because of people like Dr. Hendricks, aka Bob.
